Founded in 2019 as an AI research team during the early LLM era, Hudson Labs was the first finance-specific software to be completely powered by language models.

Hudson Labs' unique contributions to financial AI research include proprietary relevance ranking techniques, noise suppression, boilerplate removal and mathematical reasoning.

Today, we serve institutional investors managing over $1 trillion in assets, providing them with research tools that combine the precision of a financial terminal with the adaptability of artificial intelligence.

Kris Bennatti

CEO & Co-Founder

Prior to founding Hudson Labs, Kris worked as the lead data scientist at corporate governance advisory firm, Hansell McLaughlin and taught Python programming at an AI boot camp. Kris is CPA, CA (inactive) and has a masters degree in data analytics from the Schulich School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Economics from McGill University.

Suhas is a well-known applied AI, natural language processing and machine learning researcher. He is the author of the popular textbook, Designing Large Language Model Applications published by O'Reilly Media. He was the Privacy co-chair at Big Science for the BLOOM LLM, which at the time of its release was the world's largest open-source multilingual LLM, along with contributions to various other LLMs and their training datasets. He has been the chair of the Toronto Machine Learning Summit for the last four years. Suhas has a Masters degree in Computer Science from Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands, and spent over five years at IBM where he held the position of Staff Software Engineer.
